Memory Care
After experiencing a grandfather go through the progression of Alzheimer’s, I began to have an interest in the subject of memory. The fear that as I grow older this type of disease might be prevalent in my own life scares me.
In response, I wrote a poem and photographed places that I have a memory attached to. Some images with specific objects associated with them present in the installation. By creating this work I'm preparing to accept that one day I might suffer from this disease.
